#440 Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

A flywheel is a heavy wheel that takes a good push to get started but, once it's spinning, it keeps going with its own momentum. In business, the term "flywheel" is used to describe a system where each part helps the next part work better. Think of it like a snowball rolling down a hill; it starts small, but as it rolls, it picks up more snow and gets bigger and faster. In a business, if you focus on improving one area, it can lead to growth in another area, which then feeds back into the first area, making it even better.
For example, if you make a great product, more people will buy it and tell their friends. Those friends then buy the product and tell more friends, and so on. This creates a cycle of growth. By understanding and improving the parts of our business flywheel, we can make our business grow faster and more efficiently.
What I’m Excited About:
My Real Estate Book Keeps Selling. When I wrote the book I did it because of the passion I have for real estate and sometimes that doesn’t always translate well to the target audience. Well, so far it’s been great and I want to thank those who have bought the book and taken the time to review it. If you haven’t bought it then it’s a great time to either buy the ebook or the book, the price just dropped a little bit.
Book I’m Reading:
Wealth Of Nations. I picked this book up earlier this year and I put it on pause, but I’m back at it and it baffles my mind how something so good was written over 200 years ago. In fact it was published in 1776, the same year the US declared independence.
What I’m Watching:
Foundation. I’m an Isaac Asimov fan and the show on Apple TV has been awesome so far. If you haven’t watched it I highly recommend it. The show is well done and the characters are rich. The story line is solid and the show is fun to watch. If you are a Sci-Fi fan then you’ve got to watch this one.
What I’m Listening To:
8 Surprising Habits To Get Millions Of Subscribers. This is a great and simple video with basic and logical advice that you can apply to your life today. Watching the journey and learning with the person you are watching is key! There are some great habits here, but the main one is learning to tell a story as you grow. Listen or watch this one!
What I Just Bought:
The Hover Bar Duo. This is the second one I buy in 1 year. If you have an ipad that you use for meetings then this is great! Article I’m Reading:

As reliance on data and analytics continues to expand across industries from agriculture to manufacturing, health care to financial services, it stands to reason that the next generation of data leaders will have far-reaching roles that impact strategy, decision-making, operations, and countless other functions.
What Tech I’m Testing Out:
The Gamma App. This app just keeps on impressing me to the point that we’re finally going to pay for it and stop using the free version. We love how fast it’s developed and how fast it works for making presentations.
What I’m Working On:
Online Lead Flow Chart. I’ve got a great online lead flowchart that I created a few years back and I refined earlier this year which I included in the book “Real Estate Prospecting.
