7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

The hardest part about being a real estate agent isn’t the paperwork or the prospecting or the long hours. It’s keeping yourself together when nothing seems to be going right. When the deals fall apart, the clients go silent, and the closings are few and far between, that’s when the real mental work begins.
This business will test you in ways that no one really prepares you for. It’ll challenge your confidence, your patience, and sometimes even your belief in yourself. And yet, you still wake up, show up, and give it everything you’ve got. That strength, especially when it feels like no one sees it, is what sets you apart.
So if you’re in a season where it feels like you’re holding things together with hope and grit, just know you’re not alone. Keep going. It’s not just about getting through the hard days, it’s about becoming the kind of person who can. You’ve got more in you than you think.
WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT
The Daily Real Estate Podcast

It’s growing and I’m in a groove. I create a document or giveaway that helps agents with a pain point in their business almost daily. So if you aren’t tuning in and listening please don’t miss out.
BOOK I’M READING
The Intelligent Investor
I’m reading it again slowly, it’s one of those books that has so much information and it’s also written 100 years ago so the language is slightly different. It’s a classic and amazing book I recommend to anyone looking to get better at handling money.
WHAT I’M WATCHING
A Conversation with Jony Ive
This had so many great nuggets about how to approach building a company and a business. He simplified it and made it about helping others and it was AWESOME!
WHAT I’M LISTENING TO
The Truth About Sugar Free
This one was tough to listen to for me and it’s only 25 minutes long. I listened and I took notes and now I have to change my diet. LOL. Don’t listen to this one if you don’t want to change up what you drink.
WHAT I JUST BOUGHT
Uniball Zento Pens
Wow, these are my favorite pens. They are so smooth to write with. Their ink is great and it’s not smudging either. If you love pens then this one might be it for you.
ARTICLE I’M READING
How people are really using GenAi in 2025
Last year, HBR published a piece on how people are using gen AI. Much has happened over the past 12 months. We now have Custom GPTs—AI tailored for narrower sets of requirements. New kids are on the block, such as DeepSeek and Grok, providing more competition and choice. Millions of ears pricked up as Google debuted their podcast generator, NotebookLM. OpenAI launched many new models (now along with the promise to consolidate them all into one unified interface). Chain-of-thought reasoning, whereby AI sacrifices speed for depth and better answers, came into play. Voice commands now enable more and different interactions, for example, to allow us to use gen AI while driving. And costs have substantially reduced with access broadened over the past twelve hectic months. With all of these changes, we’ve decided to do an updated version of the article based on data from the past year. Here’s what the data shows about how people are using gen AI now.
WHAT TECH I’M TESTING OUT
MetaAi
Meta The company behind Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, released an app that you can use to run AI prompts. It’s a fun one because you are able to see what other people have asked it to do, it's under a section called “Discover”. I think it’s a very easy to use app that is well done. I highly recommend it.
WHAT I’M WORKING ON
Contact Client Sheet
I just made a simple one on Canva that you can modify yourself. I did a podcast 2 days ago on it and if you need a copy just message me by text: 310-356-3715.
