The people who last in this business aren't the flashiest or the loudest, they're the ones who treat most clients like they matter, because they actually do. 

Build your career on a simple belief: if you focus on being valuable instead of being visible, visibility takes care of itself. That doesn't mean you don't market. It means your marketing is rooted in service, not self-promotion. It means most of your posts, many of your calls, a lot of your touchpoints are about helping someone make a better decision. 

People don't just want an agent. They want someone who sees them, hears them, and genuinely cares about their outcome. It's about how you make them feel. Be that person.

I’m rereading this one for November. The author noticed that prisoners who had a "why" to live for, whether it was reuniting with loved ones, completing unfinished work, or even just bearing witness to what happened, were more likely to survive. Those who lost sight of meaning often gave up. Interesting thing to think about when it comes to your personal life and your business.

I have been shopping for the family before the year ends and I found this perfume that really captivated me. I love the options of all the scents. This one is new to me, and I was happy to discover it while walking through Nordstrom.

This is a talk that Steve Jobs did, it’s actually a part of it. I got the transcript and saved it and I’ve been rereading it and sent it to everyone in the team. It helps with staying focused on your messaging for your company. It’s a great thing to read.

I finally got my first video on Instagram and here’s an example. I’m very surprised at how good it was. This type of AI tech has gotten so much better and it’s nice to see that it’s usable to grow my local audience in Los Angeles.
