An Inspiring Story to Share: A Lesson from a Deep Hole

I heard this story earlier today from a friend who sent me a video, and I wanted to share it with you.

There was a man walking down the street when suddenly, he fell into a deep hole. The walls were so steep that he couldn’t climb out on his own.

As he was struggling, a doctor passed by. The man shouted up for help. The doctor peered down, wrote a prescription, tossed it into the hole, and continued on his way.

Next, a priest came by. Again, the man shouted for help. The priest wrote a prayer, threw it down into the hole, and moved on.

Then, a friend walked past. “Hey Joe, it’s me,” the man in the hole called out. “Can you help me out?” Without hesitation, the friend jumped into the hole.

Incredulous, the man asked, “Are you crazy? Now we’re both stuck down here!”

The friend smiled and replied, “Yes, but I’ve been down here before, and I know the way out.”
