She almost quit social media
Glad she didn't.
Hi !
She'd been posting for almost a year. Doing it consistently, showing up, doing everything people told her to do.
She wasn’t getting anyone connecting. No one DMing her. A few likes, no calls, no leads. She told me she was done with it. Before she quit I asked her one thing. Who's actually reading this and why would they care?
She didn't have a clear answer. That was the whole problem.
We didn't change her platform. Didn't change how often she posted. Just changed what she was saying and who she was saying it to. We got clear on her audience, which you probably have to do as well once you dig in.
A few months later people were reaching out. Saying they'd been watching her for a while and were ready to move. The best story she’s told me so far was when she went to the supermarket recently and she had 3 people in the store recognize her from what she’s been doing. Under a year from nearly quitting, social media is now bringing her business, real business.
Most agents I talk to have the same issue. It's not that social doesn't work. It's that posting without a real point of view is just noise. And nobody calls you because of noise. If your online presence isn't doing anything for you right now, it's probably not a volume problem. It's a direction problem.
That's something we fix fast in coaching. Email me back if you want to know more about how that works.
