Hi !
I was talking to an agent last week who made one small tweak to how he describes himself online. Not a new website. Not a rebrand. Just changed a few things about how he positions what he does and who he works with.
Someone typed a question into ChatGPT about finding an agent in his area. His name came up. They called him.That happened last week and I know he’s not the only one it’s happening to because I’m watching it happen at our brokerage and on Lab Coat Agents.
People are starting their home search by asking AI now. And the agents showing up in those answers are getting calls from people who don't even know any other agents. It’s not like an online lead that goes to Zillow, then Redfin, then Realtor.com and by the time they get to you they’ve already been bombarded with a lot of calls.
Most agents have no idea this is happening yet. The ones who figure it out in the next few months are going to have a real edge.
This is one of the things we're working on with coaching clients right now. It's a pretty simple shift once you know what to do.
