The scroll stops when someone feels something. Not when they see something clever. If you're still chasing eyeballs, you're playing the wrong game. WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT

BOOK I’M READING
 What to Make of a Life by Jim Collins. This one just came out in April 2026, and it's the result of a ten year research project into how we navigate the major turning points in our lives. Amazon Collins calls them "cliffs," those moments when life flips from clarity to confusion. Jim Collins I'm going to take my time with this one because Jim Collins is one of my favorite authors and this feels like the kind of book you sit with, not rush through. If you've read Good to Great or Built to Last, this is him going personal for the first time. I can already tell it's going to hit different.

WHAT I’M WATCHING
Learn 80% of Claude Cowork in Under 20 Minutes by Jeff Su. If you use Claude Chat every day, are intimidated by Claude Code, and know Cowork exists but don't know why you'd need it, this is the video for you. Jeff Su Jeff does an incredible job walking through the setup, how to connect it to your existing tools, and the difference between chatting with AI and actually delegating work to it. WHAT I’M LISTENING TO
 Acquired: Ferrari. Ben Gilbert and David Rosenthal just dropped their Ferrari episode and it's nearly four hours of pure storytelling. Apple Podcasts These are the guys who typically cover great companies from a finance and investing lens, and they make the case that the common narrative about Enzo Ferrari, that he just wanted to race cars and built a car company to finance it, is completely false. Enzo was a natural born entrepreneur and marketer, essentially Italy's Steve Jobs. Acquired If you care about brand building, scarcity, and how emotion drives value, this one's a masterclass.

WHAT I JUST BOUGHT
Wrangler Boys' Western Denim Jacket. My son's been wanting a jean jacket for a while and I finally gave in. Instead of going with Levi's I went with Wrangler. Classic western styling, solid denim, and honestly it just looks great on him. Sometimes the simple purchases are the best ones.

ARTICLE I’M READING
What Authentic Leadership Looks Like Under Pressure by Deepa Purushothaman and Colleen Ammerman in Harvard Business Review. The core insight is that today's leadership choices are increasingly shaped by pressures that overlap and collide, from economic uncertainty to technological change to public scrutiny, and a single decision can carry strategic, human, and reputational consequences. Harvard Business Review This one resonated because that's exactly what running a brokerage through a market like this feels like. Every decision carries weight across multiple dimensions. If you lead a team, this is worth your time.

WHAT TECH I’M TESTING OUT
Claude Cowork. I've been deep in this one. Cowork brings Claude Code's agentic capabilities to the desktop for knowledge work beyond coding. Claude I'm integrating it into our brokerage operations and into a lot of the social media content I produce. It doesn't just answer questions. It actually does the work. It organizes files, creates documents, researches, and delivers finished outputs. If you're a real estate agent trying to figure out how AI fits into your business, start here. This is the tool that made it real for me.

WHAT I’M WORKING ON
 I've been putting together something I'm calling "Surprise and Delight." It's a document full of ideas for connecting with past clients and our database at a deeper level. Not the typical drip campaigns or market updates, but real, meaningful touchpoints that make people feel remembered. I'm excited about it because this is what relationships are actually built on.
