Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

Hi ,

The opportunity in front of you right now doesn't care if you feel ready. It's going to pass either way. Most regrets aren't about what you tried. They're about what you watched go by while you waited to feel ready.

What opportunity are you calling "bad timing" when it's really just fear?

WHAT I’M EXCITED ABOUT
A Brilliant Tribe AI Workshops. We just crossed 300 paying customers in about 10 days. The workshops are built for beginners and moderate users who want to use AI specifically for real estate. If you've been sitting on the sidelines watching everyone talk about AI without actually learning how to use it in your business, this is where you jump in. Come build with us.

BOOK I’M READING
What to Make of a Life by Jim Collins. I'm still working through this one and I’m loving it. Collins spent a decade researching how people navigate the cliff moments, the transitions, the fog. If you're at any kind of crossroads in your life or business, this book will slow you down in the right way.

WHAT I’M WATCHING
5 AI Tools to Use Right Now. A quick breakdown of 5 AI tools worth paying attention to. My agents ask me constantly which ones to actually use, so I'm always watching how people are packaging these recommendations. If you're still overwhelmed by the AI landscape, this one cuts through the noise.

WHAT I’M LISTENING TO
Founders #417: Arnold Schwarzenegger by David Senra. Senra breaks down Arnold's first autobiography, The Education of a Bodybuilder, and the mindset Arnold had before the world knew who he was. It's a masterclass in single-minded focus and the refusal to live an ordinary life. If you've been softening your ambition lately, this one'll shake you out of it.

WHAT I JUST BOUGHT
Book and Journal Page Clip. Grabbed this for my journals and books. Small thing, but if you journal or annotate a lot, it keeps your pages from flipping and lets you stay in flow. It's one of those tiny upgrades that actually matters.

ARTICLE I’M READING
When Executive Presence Backfires by Amii Barnard-Bahn in Harvard Business Review. She breaks down the three traps senior leaders fall into. Staying the expert when your job is to build experts. Projecting certainty when vulnerability would serve you better. And improving every idea when your team actually needs ownership. If you lead a team and you're scaling, this one's worth your time.

WHAT TECH I’M TESTING OUT
Claude Design. Anthropic just launched this and it's going to make it way easier to build out websites, slides, and graphics for social straight from a prompt. It's still pricey as of now and it's only in research preview for paid tiers, but the direction is real. Worth watching closely.

WHAT I’M WORKING ON
The Past Client Letter. I'm refining the letter I send to my past clients once a year. It's one of the highest-ROI pieces of writing I do all year, and I'm tightening it up for the next send. If you want it, just shoot me an email at [email protected].
