Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

Someone out there is struggling with something that you’ve helped someone overcome. It doesn't even have to be business related: playing a new sport, raising a puppy, tending to a garden, playing video games… whatever it is!

And they are WAITING for you to give them the solution to their problem. Now think about this for your business. Real Estate, insurance, mortgages, anything…

You just have to take that step. Stop depriving others of your knowledge and get to work. The world is waiting for you to shoot that video and upload it to YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, even TikTok…

Let’s do it!

What I’m Excited About:

Join Me in Threads by Instagram. I’m sure by now you’ve heard that the new social media app is taking the United States by storm. As of yesterday morning, Threads has amassed 100 million users in just 5 days. The fastest any website has ever reached that milestone. If you’re going to jump in or if you already have, please follow me there. I have been posting there 4-10 times daily, some motivation, some fun posts, and you’ll also get to see what I’m testing out as I figure out what content is best on Threads.

Book I’m Reading:

Never Split The Difference. I’m rereading this one for a book club and it’s so good! I’m glad I’m reading this one again, in fact I’ve got this one on audible and I’m listening to it and I’m reading it when I’m not exercising. If you’ve never read the book please read it and if you have read it I challenge you to reread it and take notes this time!

What I’m Watching:

How to write content that gets eyeballs. If you’ve been in our group coaching or have been following me on social media you know I’m leaning in much more into building out my email lists. This was such a great video that I wanted to share with you so you can learn as well. It’s over an hour long, but it’s really great!

What I’m Listening To:

Building a better life. Amy is extremely inspirational. You’re going to leave inspired after listening to this one. We talk about what goals mean to Amy and once you've discovered your goals and purpose, Wong says, the next step is to create a plan for how to live it out. This plan should include your goals, your values, and your strategies for achieving your goals. Wong also emphasizes the importance of taking action and being persistent in pursuing your purpose.

What I Just Bought:

Affirmation Cards. I’ve been looking to create my own, so I bought one set that I saw on Instagram Threads over the weekend. Affirmation Cards is a deck of 55 cards, each featuring an uplifting affirmation on the front and a meditation practice on the back. Organized into six categories—Self-Love, Personal Power, Self-Trust, Letting Go, Boundaries, and Healing—these cards are designed to help you tap into moments of peace, clarity, and connection in your day-to-day life. Delivered in a luxe, take-anywhere package, this deck is a gorgeous accessory for wellness enthusiasts, meditators, and fans of Alexandra Elle.

Article I’m Reading:

In Uncertain Times, Embrace Imperfections. Change is accelerating, with uncertainty and threat of disruption in every industry segment. The pace of change and rise of global winner-take-all competition means that conventional product-market-structure approaches to strategy, as well as core competencies thinking, are difficult to implement in practice and may yield misleading answers. Under today’s conditions, the authors argue that real-time problem solving should be the heart of strategy development rather than theoretical frameworks, and they present a framework for this approach. This approach requires companies to look at strategy through multiple lenses or vantage points, typically anchoring these outside the company in its ecosystem or beyond. Looking at your business through the eyes of your suppliers, customers, current rivals, and potential outside entrants will give you much more perspective on both threats and opportunities than you will get from staying inside your company’s prevailing mindsets and routines. It should also seek to generate new data on these perspectives through experimentation, augmenting this new data by crowdsourcing external ideas and technologies to bring collective intelligence to bear.

What I’ve Been Thinking About:

Beautiful.ai. I’ve been keeping this one in my back pocket for a few years now, but it just got better and I can’t keep it from you any longer. I’ve made some of the most amazing presentations and this website makes it easy and engaging to the eye. It’s hard to beat this presentation site.

What I’m Working On:

15 Video Ideas To Go Viral On Social Media. Yeah, this wasn’t easy to outline and create. In fact, I’m not even finished yet, but I have 11 pages for you and I know you will find them extremely helpful. If you want it just text me to 310-356-3715 and I will send it to you.

We’ll be going over this document in group coaching so if you’re interested in group coaching just click on the link here and get the discount by using the code word “labcoatagents” and get it for $297 a month. No contract.
