Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

As the renowned philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once said...

As the renowned philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche once said, “And those who were seen dancing were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.” In these wise words, Nietzsche emphasizes the importance of inner disposition.

It’s indeed the negativity that lurks within us that possesses the power to overwhelm and consume us. When we allow ourselves to be burdened by pessimism and despair, it hurts our potential for happiness.

I’m not telling you that you’ve got to think positively as often as possible, I’m just indicating that being aware of your thoughts and surrounding yourself with things that help you grow is the most beneficial to your mind. By cultivating inner harmony and rising above the waves of negativity, we can truly discover the profound beauty of life’s symphony.

And like everything else, it takes time and effort.

What I’m Excited About:

Real Estate Prospecting. The book is doing really well on Amazon, and the kindle edition has been picking up steam now. If you haven’t picked up the book yet take a look at the kindle edition, some of you are enjoying that more because of the charts and graphics too.

Book I’m Reading:
10x is Easier than 2X. This one was recommended to me by my friend Dan Murray. I recommend it too, it has a great premise that you should probably go bigger a lot sooner with where you want to go with your business. It’s gaining steam too because I keep on seeing this book on social media.

What I’m Watching:
Do you want perfect memory? This is a long video, but it’s great watching Jim Kwik break down some key concepts on using your brain much better. If you want to listen to this one in the span of a few days I don’t blame you.

What I’m Listening To:

Transformation through Leadership. This conversation was informative and a ton of fun too! They emphasize that leadership is about influence, and we all possess the ability to influence others in various ways. Whether it's through our actions, behaviors, or choices, we impact those around us.

What I Just Bought:

Vuori Hoodie. It’s not cheap, but the quality is great for working out and running. I run in the mornings and this is the second sweater I get from them. If you’re looking for a good sweater give them a shot.

Article I’m Reading:
3 Ways to Reenergize Your Team. Employees everywhere are suffering from chronic low engagement and productivity levels, while stress and burnout continue to rise. Add to this the pressures of economic uncertainty and a potential recession, the threat of artificial intelligence automating jobs and skills and disrupting entire industries, and the sense of languishing and loneliness that increasingly permeate the work experiences of many, and the overall picture is rather bleak. If you want to compete for talent, and create truly appealing environments in your team and organization, where people thrive and excel, you must help them rediscover the human (and humane) qualities that make work more than just work. This is particularly critical for those who manage people, with meta-analytic studies showing that around 30% to 40% of the variability in team morale, performance, and critical organizational behaviors (both good and bad) can be explained by what managers and leaders do. Simply put: bosses play a key role impacting the well-being and success of teams. This article discusses three potential action areas for managers and leaders who want to enhance their team’s morale, well-being and performance, particularly during tough or uncertain times.

What Tech I’m Testing Out:

Bard. I keep on going back to Bard because I’m excited to see them take on ChatGPT even more. It’s still got some ways to go, but they are catching up fast. If you haven’t watched the video I shot comparing Bard to ChatGPT please watch it. You will love it.

What I’m Working On:
The 90-Day Business Transformation. We’ve been working with REDX on this for the last 2 months to help them grow it and build it better. Now it’s ready and they are looking for 100 people only. It’s not cheap, but it’s something that will definitely give your business some rocket fuel.
