Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

“Social media has everyone rushing their goals. Remember, comparison is the thief of joy. Stay focused on you.” - Tristan Ahumada
Social media often accelerates the pace at which we pursue our goals, driven by constant exposure to others' achievements. It's crucial to remember that comparing ourselves to others can rob us of our happiness. Staying focused on our own journey, rather than getting caught up in the apparent successes of others, is key to maintaining personal joy and fulfillment.
Recognize and celebrate your own achievements, no matter how small they may seem in comparison to the grandiose successes often.
What I’m Excited About
Real Estate Prospecting. I've gotten some amazing feedback from the real estate community so far. It makes me happy to know that all the strategies I use for my local and expansion teams are being used and agents are succeeding with them. Please pick it up. .
Book I’m Reading:
The Wager. If you’re looking to read a book that seems fictional, but is based on a true story here it is. "The Wager" will take you through some unbelievable yet true ups and downs on sea and on land. Trust me, it's a wild ride that feels like a movie!
What I’m Watching:
Why I Quit Youtube. I stumbled upon an inspiring episode of "The Diary Of A CEO" featuring the incredible Casey Neistat. His insights on drive, patience, and the lessons learned from failure were truly eye-opening.
What I’m Listening To:
Christian Dior. The Founders Podcast's episode on "Christian Dior" has been my go-to podcast episode this week. The fashion icon's story is not just inspiring but a testament to embracing risks and opportunities in life.
What I Just Bought:
The Hoverbar. On the practical side, the HoverBar Duo has been a recent addition that has significantly streamlined my work and creative processes, especially with my iPad.
Article I’m Reading:
Create the life you want. I also came across an article titled “Create the Life You Want.” It's a thought-provoking piece that urges us to define our own criteria for a fulfilling life. It's like crafting a strategic plan for personal growth—imagine having your life goals laid out on a single page.
What Tech I’m Testing Out:
Bard. Google Bard's evolution has been fascinating to witness. It’s still not to the level of ChatGPT but when I ask it to break down a YouTube video it does a magnificent job because it’s directly connected to YouTube. It also makes it a lot more functional because it allows me to upload whatever I create directly to Google Docs. I love the functionality. It’s growing and I think if they continue down this route, it will compete seriously with ChatGPT.
What I’m Working On:
The Social Media Calendar For January. Speaking of planning ahead, I'm knee-deep in prepping the Social Media Calendar for January 2024! If you want the PDF version, just shoot me a text at: (310) 356-3715.
