Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

Creativity isn't about perfection. It's about the magic of bringing your unique ideas to life. Let your spirit flow, let your colors shine – there's no wrong way to express yourself.

Don't get caught up in the final product. Creativity is in the journey – the experiments, the happy accidents, the pure joy of making something new. Embrace the process!

Let’s go!

What I’m Excited About:

Team/Broker Group Coaching. We’re calling it Visionaries. We will guide you in your transition to profitability and into the future of real estate. We’re finally ready to launch this, even though it’s in Beta. We will be offering 4 group sessions a month and you can include up to 4 of your agents in our group coaching created specifically for them. If you’re interested to hear more about it just email me back.

Book I’m Reading:

The Creative Act: A Way Of Being. I love this book. I wasn’t sure about it, but it kept coming up in conversations so I dove in. It’s split up into small chapters and each chapter focuses on a part of being creative. The challenges we face and how to overcome them. Very very well written and a great book.

What I’m Watching:

Jony Ives. One of the greatest designers of all time. This was a powerful conversation that gave us a glimpse into what he learned working with Steve Jobs and how he functioned with the Apple team overall. His insight on how he says NO to things he loves is powerful.

What I’m Listening To:

Power Purpose, and the American Presidency. This was a quick and fun listen. I learned some new things about our past US presidents and some psychological key points about post-presidency challenges.

What I Just Bought:

Timmy Turtle. This is a super cute angry turtle. I got it for one of my clients' daughters and she loved it. If you know someone who loves angry stuffed animals this is a fun one.

Article I’m Reading:

The Necessary Art of Persuasion. Business today is largely run by teams and populated by authority-averse baby boomers and Generation Xers. That makes persuasion more important than ever as a managerial tool. But contrary to popular belief, the author asserts, persuasion is not the same as selling an idea or convincing opponents to see things your way. It is instead a process of learning from others and negotiating a shared solution. To that end, persuasion consists of four essential elements: establishing credibility, framing to find common ground, providing vivid evidence, and connecting emotionally. Keep reading…

What Tech I’m Testing Out:

Bard becomes Gemini. This past week it became official and Google changed Bards name to Gemini. It’s pretty powerful and the free version is very good, but the $20 version is exceptional and the connection to Youtube is very powerful. I’m loving it and I can see how ChatGPT may not be able to keep up.

What I’m Working On:

Finding Your Brand and Pillars. I worked on a document that I’m going to expand into a course and workbook. It all started from this PDF that asks you questions to help you discover your brand and pillars for social media. If you need it you know the drill, just text me: 310-356-3715.
