Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

This last week I launched my new podcast. Where I show up daily for you to help you through your real estate journey. I make them all super short to make sure you fit them into your day and keep you going in the right direction.

If you’ve listened to it please let me know how you like it so far and if you haven’t please take time to jump in here. Listen In

What I’m Excited About

FUB Event. It’s been a while and trust me, it’s going to be packed with insights and actionable tips. Registration’s still open, so buckle up for some serious learning and implementation!

Book I’m Reading:

Power Phone Scripts. The full title is: “Power Phone Scripts: 500 Word-for-Word Questions, Phrases, and Conversations to Open and Close More Sales”. It’s like having a secret manual for sales wizards! Packed with phrases, questions, and conversational gems to level up your sales game. Call reluctance? Fear of closing the deal? Consider them things of the past!

What I’m Watching:

Never Feel Lazy. I recently caught this fantastic video by Mr. Beast—“Never Feel Lazy.” It’s about the mindset that keeps him going in the world of content creation. A true embodiment of a growth mindset and finding joy in the journey. It’s the kind of motivation that sticks!

What I’m Listening To:

EDM Playlist. My weekend vibe has been all about an EDM playlist. Hits from Avicii, Coldplay, The Chainsmokers—transformed into amazing EDM versions. Can’t get enough of these beats!

What I Just Bought:

Background Lights. I bought 2 more of these and I love them. Picked up some background lights for my videos. These bad boys give my backdrop the perfect lighting. Easy setup and they work like a charm!

Article I’m Reading:

What sales people get wrong about AI. Discussion of generative AI has maintained a fever pitch since OpenAI released ChatGPT-3.5 in late 2022. Many leaders’ instinct is to provide direction and codification when trying to drive the adoption of new tools.

This is particularly true in sales. However, It's not merely about dictating its use but guiding sales professionals to creatively employ this technology, transforming it into a coaching and learning tool. This requires a paradigm shift, encouraging innovative utilization rather than enforcing traditional methodologies.

It's about transforming it into a valuable coaching and learning tool. To achieve this, a departure from traditional methods is required. The author offers four steps to get you started.

What Tech I’m Testing Out:

Gamma.App. This website has been getting better and better. I had it outline a whole website and it’s so good. If you haven’t tried it now might be a good time to use it for building out a presentation, too. And man, it’s impressive! If you’re into hassle-free content creation, this AI-powered tool might just be your go-to.

What I’m Working On:

I’m Revisiting the idea of a Vision. I took time this weekend to outline some questions that will create clarity when it comes to your vision. If you want the Google Doc just text me: (310) 356-3715
