Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

Just a reminder about an invisible law of life.

The more challenging and harder something is, the bigger the reward on the other end. Why?

Because most won’t even attempt it and very few if any, will stick with it long enough to see what happens next.

The opportunity lies in the length you stick to it and how often you recalibrate. Apply energy to what you want to grow and apply it consistently over time.

What I’m Excited About:

RevlUp. They just released seller leads last month and so far the sellers we’ve talked to through this company are real people. They are nurture leads, but we are excited nonetheless. We don’t get an affiliate on this, I’m sharing this with you because it’s been working for us and we want to help you grow.

Book I’m Reading:

Million Dollar Weekend: Noah Kagan's "Million Dollar Weekend" offers a blueprint for launching a successful business in just 48 hours. He argues that now is an ideal time for entrepreneurship, with lower start-up costs than ever before. The book guides readers away from common excuses and towards finding "Creator's Courage" to overcome fear and pursue their ideas. Kagan offers a step-by-step "Million Dollar Weekend" process designed to quickly validate your business, attract eager customers, and implement automation to allow your business to grow even while you're not actively working on it.

What I’m Watching:

Here's What The Best in the World Know About Success That You Don't. You can definitely listen to this one too, but I enjoyed watching this one over the weekend and I took a lot of notes! It was GREAT! Very inspiring and eye opening when he said “my public voice becomes other people’s inner voice”.

What I’m Listening To😀

Steve Martin & Martin Short. This one was hilarious and fun to listen to! If you want to learn and laugh a bit then this one is for you. I love the cast of this podcast and it’s great to listen to in the car.

What I Just Bought:

Vertical Mattress Support. I had no idea this existed and it’s really sturdy. Our bed is already raised pretty high and my wife recently had surgery (She is recovering well) and we needed to lower the bed. I removed the box springs and added this device. Life saver!

Article I’m Reading:

The Art Of Asking Smarter Questions: With organizations of all sorts facing increased urgency and unpredictability, being able to ask smart questions has become key. But unlike lawyers, doctors, and psychologists, business professionals are not formally trained on what kinds of questions to ask when approaching a problem. They must learn as they go. In their research and consulting, the authors have seen that certain kinds of questions have gained resonance across the business world. In a three-year project they asked executives to brainstorm about the decisions they’ve faced and the kinds of inquiry they’ve pursued. In this article they share what they’ve learned and offer a practical framework for the five types of questions to ask during strategic decision-making: investigative, speculative, productive, interpretive, and subjective. By attending to each, leaders and teams can become more likely to cover all the areas that need to be explored, and they’ll surface information and options they might otherwise have missed.

What Tech I’m Testing Out:

Llama Ai: This is Meta’s Ai’s and it’s very easy to use and it’s actually good. They added it to the search bar on Facebook and to Instagram so it’s easy to use. We’ve been playing around with it and we think it’s good! Try it out.

What I’m Working On:

The Daily Jumpstart PDF: I taught this 2 weeks ago to our coaching clients and I have a really nice PDF that the team just refined. If you need it just text me to 310-356-3715 and we will send it to you.
