Tristan’s 7+1: What I'm reading, watching, listening to, etc...

I created a short video earlier this week about important habits. I outlined it before posting in video format, so I believe you'll enjoy the written form right here. Here are the Nine Habits for Personal Growth:

1. Practice Mindfulness: Stay present and reduce stress. Take time at the end of each day to reflect on how you treated people; it can help immensely.

2. Read Regularly: Expand your mind and creativity. Books don't necessarily have to be ones that aid in personal growth; fantasy and fiction can be just as beneficial.

3. Exercise Daily: Improve physical and mental health. Starting can be as simple as taking a 10-minute walk.

4. Journaling: Reflect and track your personal growth. They say journaling is the least expensive form of therapy.

5. Set Goals:  Focus on the process, not just the goals. Define and work toward clear targets.

6. Healthy Eating: Even fast-food places offer good choices. Fuel your body right.

7. Learn New Skills:  I use platforms like Udemy to learn regularly. Keep evolving by learning new things a few times a month.

8. Network and Connect: Build meaningful relationships. Connections can be made virtually or in person.

9. Practice Gratitude: Appreciate life’s blessings. Consider using a journal to identify what you're grateful for and often express thanks to someone.

What I’m Excited About

My Prospecting Plan For 2024. We're thrilled to share the prospecting methods we're employing this year and our specific focus. Our collaboration with Clarity Now in this Mastermind will also cover valuable insights on tracking and measuring.

Book I’m Reading:

The 38 Letters from J.D. Rockefeller to his son - These aren't just ordinary letters; they're a window into the mind of one of history's most influential figures. It's like stepping into their private world, witnessing firsthand the advice, wisdom, and values that built the Rockefeller legacy.

What I’m Watching:

We interviewed the CEO of YouTube, - an exclusive conversation with Neal Mohan, the CEO of YouTube in the channel by Colin and Samir. The discussion tackles Youtube’s present landscape, future possibilities, and insights into the CEO's vision and experiences. Quite an interesting watch, touching on various aspects of YouTube's functioning and industry trends

What I’m Listening To:

Red Bulls Billionaire Maniac founder: Dietrich Mateschitz - Dietrich Mateschitz’ son, Mark, just got a jaw-dropping $615 million from the company. It's his first massive payout since taking over the empire last year. The podcast digs into their billionaire legacy and how Red Bull's shaping up under Mark's leadership.

What I Just Bought:

Notsu index cards: It’s thick paper is perfect for notes or sketches. It also has this dot grid that keeps things tidy. It’s also double-sided, making it great for flashcards or bullet journaling.

Article I’m Reading:

The opposite of insubordination: The article is from Seth Godin’s blog.  It used to be 'Do as I say,' and if you didn't, you were in trouble. But nowadays, that kind of strict obedience isn't cutting it. It's all about enrolling people in the journey. When you give them the goals, tools, and support, they'll figure things out themselves, way better than just blindly following orders.

What Tech I’m Testing Out:

Eklipse.GG: This website has been pretty cool. It can turn longer videos into TikTok-ready clips with AI. It's not flawless, but it's pretty good at editing and even rates the videos. It's a useful tool, especially if you're into converting your content for TikTok.

What I’m Working On:

I have a set of three questions you should be asking yourself and your team regularly. There's a whole video about it that I watched a while back. If you want, I can get those questions for you. Just gotta drop a text to this number, (310) 356-3715.
