You’re going to want to hear this coaching session

After coaching one of my agents today, I was reminded of an important lesson for real estate success: focus on what you're already great at. This agent, who’s passionate about cars, attends car shows and has an impressive collection. We discussed how he can use this passion to build connections with clients through social events and conversations.
I believe in taking action and staying engaged with the consumer. Real-time conversations can be eye-opening, so I encouraged him to not only do what he loves but also pay attention to what’s working in the market. Real estate is always shifting, so adaptability is key. If open houses are working, keep doing them. If mailers are effective, send them out. If online leads are paying off, focus on those. And don’t forget to join our live calls on Thursdays to hear what’s working for others. Stay informed by staying active and engaged.
By layering his passion for cars with other business strategies, he can reach his goals faster. After our conversation, I suggested he reach out to his car buddies, plan a small car event, and invite some friends. I also recommended that he record it and post it on social media to attract others who love cars.
Here’s a quick social media tip I gave him for car shows: create 2-3 videos per event—show the inside of cars, talk to people about why they love the show, and give your audience a tour. The same applies to real estate listings or broker tours: make one video for a walk-through, another highlighting your favorite feature, and a third showcasing the neighborhood. Home tours on Instagram are still the #1 way to get inquiries—it’s amazing that it still works so well!
For your social media strategy, use videos that encourage communication through DMs or integrate ManyChat to automate responses and engage your audience with giveaways, offering even more value.
Remember, building relationships and creating content are your greatest assets. But the key is to start with what you love and expand from there. Save this for later, and feel free to reach out with any questions!
